Final Fantasy IV

Final Fantasy IV (Final Fantasy II in America) was an RPG made by Squaresoft for the SNES. Some regard this as the first RPG for the console. The game's story follows Cecil, a dark knight, as he tries to prevent the sorcerer Golbez from seizing powerful crystals and destroying the world. Due to the massive amount of censorship that the American releases suffer from (even the later GBA remake), most people play the J2e retranslation version of the original Japanese rom.
