Filetype: ZSNES Savestate (A savestate file type which is basically a kind of memory-dump. This format is primarily intended for the ZSNES, but should also be compatible with SNES9x. )
Description:
The start of the final battle with Zeromus. Have Cecil use "Crystal" so that Zeromus can reveal his true form for the real final battle to begin. [To be used with the J2e retrans version of Final Fantasy II (J).smc]
Instructions:
- To load it, you have to name it appropriately (e.g., Chrono_Trigger_(U)_[!].zs1), and you need to place it in the Save directory. If one has not been defined, you need to put it in the same folder as the game.
Also, there is absolutely no guarantee that a savestate generated by an older version of ZSNES will work on a more recent version. It is best to use the version of ZSNES that generated that savestate.
Appropriate name will typically be NameOfRom.zsX or NameOfRom.zXX so look at other savestates you've made from other games and that will let you know what to rename the file as. The X number refers to the savestate place. So .zs2 or .z02 refers to the 2nd savestate slot in the ZSNES software.
